Here's what the humans have to say about me:
**LeeLoo is currently being fostered in Houston and is available for out-of-state adoption to an amazing family. LeeLoo’s adoption fee is $500USD (to cover flight and kennel)**
LeeLoo, named for her quirky personality, is a super sweet girl who was rescued from a local shelter here in Texas. She was returned by the family who adopted her because she liked herding the kids too much! Though she was never rough, the kids didn't really enjoy that from the family dog, so she was returned to the shelter. That's when we stepped in to rescue her!
This doll of a dog has tons of personality, and the best word to describe her is FUN! She loves to play, and is eagerly awaiting your next adventure with her! This is the dog for someone who is looking for a new running companion, or for a dog to take off road when trailing, hiking, or camping! LeeLoo already knows most of her basic obedience, such as sit, No, Stay, and shake! She is good on leash but could use a little fine tuning, as she is always ready to go! A backpack during a walk, or learning to run on a treadmill would be a cinch for this beauty!
LeeLoo is very much a herding breed. We believe she is an Australian cattle dog, mixed possibly with some Shiba Inu or maybe even a new guinea. She is active, and loves to herd the other pups around! She is a chatty girl who will bark and talk back with you if you ask her, and will alert if someone is approaching the house. However, if you ask her to stop, she is happy to oblige. She is very smart, and eager to please, so working with her on commands or any training of any form will not only be simple, but fun!
She loves to play with toys, and happily shares them with her canine friends. Though she is playful and gets along great with everyone, when she is inside her crate with her food, she likes to be left alone by the other dogs. Her only bad habit is that she likes to jump up on you for hugs and kisses, but we are currently working on that as well as perfecting her leash skills!
