My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is River. I'm a beauty with a wonderful disposition. I'm currently living with 2 dogs; one is bigger than me, one is much smaller. I do great with both of them. The big one and I love to play together. The little one stands by and watches us like we are crazy! There is also a cat in my foster home. I get along fine with the kitty, as well. In fact, there isn't much I don't do well with. I have been great meeting kids in the neighborhood that want to pet me, and I will pretty much do anything for some love and a cuddle. Praise and petting go further with me than even treats do. My foster mom says I'm a shadow dog. I just want to be near you. I do great in the car, in the crate when no one is home, and I am getting the hang of this house-training business. I am learning how to walk politely on leash, and I know how to 'sit' on command. I'm an all-around really great dog, if I do say so myself. You would be lucky to have a best friend like me.
