My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Copper was born sometime between March and May 2015. and is just over 9 lbs. She is crate trained and good with everyone (humans and dogs) including the resident foster kitten. Her foster mom describes her as a sweet pretty girl.

Copper is fostered in Atlanta, but a meet and greet in Chattanooga can be arranged by appointment.

Please email for an adoption application (Microsoft Word format).

Prior to adoptions, all dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (age appropriate), heartworm tested, microchipped and are kept up to date on flea/tick and heartworm preventative.

Adoption fees are $300 for dogs up to 8 years of age and $200 for 8+ years.

SOMAD is a private, all volunteer, foster-home based rescue group. Please be patient as we answer your inquiries; we do our best to answer emails within a day, however volume and regular life schedules sometimes delay us.
