My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This sweet boy was so scared at the shelter and he just wanted someone to get him out of there and give him lots of love and affection. He makes your heart melt. He is a schnauzer mix approx 4-5 yrs old and 30 lbs. He is a really nice dog, loves people, gets along well with the other dogs, likes to run and play and lay at your feet. He does pretty well on a leash and is semi house trained but not perfect, but is getting better every day. He would do great with an active family that can take him on walks, runs and to the dog park or just cuddle on the couch. He has been treat worms with the required series of injections. He is also on monthly heartworm preventative.

The total adoption cost of $475 includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a lifetime pre paid registration . The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. All our dogs are in foster care, there is no physical shelter. Some have not yet arrived in PA.
