My story

My name is Joey and I'm a fun loving, 2 year old Lab mix, weighing around 70 lbs. My owners are having a baby and decided that there's not enough room for me anymore. They left me at the shelter, and that's where CARE found me. Thanks to them, my life was saved. I love other dogs and kids, I would make a wonderful family companion. I am awesome with fetch and frisbee. I've lived with a family all my life, so I know how to be a proper pet. Now I just need a family that will love me and never let me go!

This dog was rescued from a kill shelter or the streets and has been evaluated for medical and temperament to prepare for a forever home and is in a foster home in San Antonio, Texas* and is ready to fly to its final destination once adopted. *CARE RESCUE IS A 501C3 NON PROFIT and is located in San Antonio, TX where we have an extremely serious pet overpopulation situation and four hundred plus adoptable pets lose their lives in the shelter and on the streets every week. **This is the base fee for transportation and varies according to weight of the dog and location. Flying to Canada requires an additional customs fee.
