Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
He's a mellow, easygoing kitten, trusting and sunny despite beginning his life on the streets.
In fact, Shaggy is a perfect fluffball who adores humans, cats, and dogs.
A trap-neuter-return (TNR) volunteer ran across Shaggy and determined to help him find a safe, secure home. He is neutered, tested for felv/fiv, vaccinated, treated for fleas/parasites, and will be microchipped.
Now estimated to be five months old, Shaggy tested positive for FIV when he was younger. There is a chance he will retest negative. But even if he stays positive, the chances are very good that he will have a life of normal quality and duration. FIV+ cats do very well if you keep them indoors, get them good vet care, and feed good food. Many of these cats live into the late teens or early 20's.
Additionally, FIV is spread only to other cats (not dogs or humans) and only through a very deep bite. Since Shaggy is so sweet and mellow with other cats, he could live with other gentle negative cats even if he does remain positive.
Shaggy hopes to meet someone who will sweep him into their arms, give him a million kisses, and take him home to a warm house with lots of toys! Won't you give this charming little guy a chance to win you over?
