Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Name: Layla
DOB: ~ 4/1/2014
Breed/Color: DSH/Flame Point
Temperament: Demanding
Layla is the prettiest, silliest, busiest, most playful kitty you will ever meet. She has loads of personality and lots of energy. Layla is a fan of all toys, but her favorites include balls (ping pong, tennis, pretty much any variety!), toy mice, and most of all wand toys. Layla is always looking for something to do and enjoys when her toys are rotated, to keep things interesting. She would really like a home where her people will play with her every day and look for new ways to provide enrichment/mental stimulation. Layla is more than willing to work for her food and is quite the pro at feeder toys, which is a great way to tire her out.
Layla is not that loud, but she is vocal and likes to carry on a conversation at times. She is actually quite cute when she "tells" you about her day. Dogs and other cats make Layla nervous and she would prefer to be the only pet in the home. Layla is "mouthy", especially when bored, and would do best in a home without children. She isn't trying to be mean or aggressive, she just wants to play. She has never broken the skin with her mouthing, but her people will need to be sure not to use their hands to play with her or encourage the behavior. Layla is good at using the scratching post and loves to have "vertical space" to explore.
Adoption Fees: All of our cats are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated (as age appropriate), tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV, given flea/tick & heartworm preventative, & fecal tested (dewormed if needed) before being adopted out. Layla's adoption fee is $75 including tax; adoptive homes are given all vet records at the adoption.
