My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Ellington. I'm a bubbly little fella who would love a forever family to have and to hold. I would love to accompany you on outdoor walks and new adventures where I can sniff and sniff and run and play. I am good with other dogs and cats, too. I am forever indebted to my rescuers who saved me from a kill shelter in Texas where I was sure to be gassed. I am very fortunate because not only did they save my life but they treated me for heart-worm and now I am testing extremely low positive -- they believe it's due to the residual antigens left in my system which can remain there until after one year. My approximate year of birth is 2012-2013 and my weight is about 40 lbs. I hope there is someone out there who will take me in and show me what it's all about to belong to someone.
