My story

Jupiter, or Jupe, is a 45-50 lb Boxer mix who is a bit unsure of things because it’s hard being booted from your home to live in a noisy, cinder block kennel. Outside in the play yard Jupiter not only loves to chase after the ball but he brings it back to you and drops it near your feet, hoping you will sling it to the other side of the yard for him again. Once he warms up to you, Jupiter is a mush who loves to snuggle close. With one brown smudge like a tilted eye brow above his left eye, Jupe looks like a stand-in for the Little Rascals. In Roman mythology Jupiter is the great god of the sky, protector of his world. But in the real world at Tri County Animal Rescue Center Jupiter, or Jupe, is just an ordinary little guy, needing his own protector, bravely living his life while he waits for someone just like you to make him special with nothing more than the magic of making room for him in your heart and home.
