Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Name: Cindy Lou
Breed: Chiweenie (Chihuahua/Dachshund)
Gender: Spayed Female
Age: Approx. 1 yrs 4 mos in Jan ’16
Weight: Approx. 9 lbs
Energy Level: Medium-High (but likes to be cuddled)
Apartment Appropriate: Yes
Good w/ Dogs: Needs a dog buddy who likes to play hard!
Good w/ Cats:
Unknown, but probably pester them
Good w/ Kids: Probably would be fine with respectful kids age 10 and over
Comments: Cindy Lou was surrendered to an animal shelter with a purebred male Dachshund. Her buddy was adopted quickly, but she was left behind, and we decided that just wouldn’t do. This little girl is sweet, sweet, sweet! She is cuddly and very kissy. The most unique thing about her, as you can see from her pictures, is her wonderful smile. Cindy Lou loves to smile at you when you’re talking to her! She still has a lot of youthful energy and a bit of the puppy mischief left in her, so she will need to be confined when her family can’t watch her in an area where she can’t find things to get into and chew. She’s always looking for the next activity, and loves to play, but she has no problem calming down if she’s given some exercise. She can be an intense playmate (like most Dachshunds), so will need a buddy around her size that can appreciate that rough and tumble play style. She will make a lovely addition to a family. If Cindy Lou sounds like the girl for you, please fill out an application to meet her today!
