Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
COURTESY LISTING - Jax is an approximately 4 year old 55lb. Lab mix (possibly mixed with some type of herding dog or spitz breed). Jax is just about as loyal as they come, and he absolutely loves his people. He will follow you around and gladly welcome any scratches or pats that are thrown his way. He is an absolute lovebug! He’s a very smart boy who is very easy to train. He has gone through a basic obedience class, but would benefit/really enjoy from continued training. Jax really enjoys playing fetch, and will also play with his toys on his own when given the chance. His foster mom usually finds the stuffed toys spread out throughout the house from his playtime. Jax is a very cuddly dog who enjoys just being with/near his people (he makes a great foot warmer!). Jax rides extremely well in the car and he is pretty decent on the leash. He really enjoys going for walks and greeting new dogs out and about. Ideally, no kitties or small animals for this guy. He has a decent prey drive and isn’t 100% trustworthy around them. He gets along very well with almost all other dogs when out (and he is very polite about greeting them!) or on a short-term basis, but would really enjoy being in a home with a female canine friend or by himself. Jax is housetrained and crate-trained, and overall pretty well behaved in the house. He hasn’t displayed any destructive behaviors in his foster home, and usually has the run of the place with the other dogs when someone is home. Jax’s can be slightly reactive/anxious with new people coming into his house. Nothing too bad/unmanageable, just worth noting! Once properly introduced, he warms up to strangers very quickly and will gladly accept affection from anyone. He has been around children and done very well with them, but we would prefer to place him into a home with adults and possibly older children. He would thrive in a home with some structure and mental stimulation. Jax is neutered and completely current on vaccinations, vetting & preventatives. There is a minimal adoption fee for Jax. Please shoot an Email over to fortheloveofgsd@gmail.com for more info! He is currently in a foster home in Southern MA.
