My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nelson is a big, 90 lb, sweetheart of a dog; senior boy at 10 years, completely house-broken, good with other dogs, but not so with puppies, small excitable breeds, or cats. He is very laid back, slow, a bit arthritic, and pretty much just needs a forever home with a soft bed for his remaining golden years. Young children would not be recommended-he is fine with kids, but we prefer he go to a calm, settled, indoor home of a mature couple or a senior, just looking for devoted companionship.
No major health issues aside from old age arthritis-does move a bit slow so he is great on a leash...he is on meds for relief; he is also being treated via slow kill for heart worm.
Adoption app, current vet/professional/personal ref/ home check required to adopt.
No rehome fee for Nelson but we will be choosy about his forever home...must be indoor at all times-aside from potty breaks, must give him the softest bed for his old bones, and must care for him properly. Many good and fulfilling years left to this gorgeous boy!!!!
