My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, my name is Paulie I am an 8 pound, 18 month old yorkie/schnauzer mix surrendered to the shelter because my owners passed away. I was so scared to be taken out of my home and put into a shelter that the workers thought I would not be adopted so they put me on the euthanasia list. Luckily I was rescued by an understanding group and I happily live with humans, dogs, cats and even chickens, the cats still kind of scare me but don't tell anyone, I still love them all though.

I am house trained and familiar with doggie doors, but sometimes I can’t help myself and try to
"mark" something new in the house that has a new smell. Don't worry, I learn very quickly when that is not acceptable and I won't do it anymore! I am a lover, and I aim to please my owner. I LOVE to snuggle on a lap, in your arms or anywhere you are! I love sleeping next to my foster humans but I will also sleep in a kennel at night if that is what you prefer. I like walking on a leash and going to new places! I am a low energy guy and looking for a FUREVER home to call my own
