My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Malachi (my Angel in Hebrew) is a young (1.5 yrs old) gorgeous male who is sweet, laid back yet can be playful. He is an insecure dog who doesn't need or want to interact with dogs until he has a chance to get to know them a little better. He is NOT dominant, but is insecure and fearful. Therefore he needs an experienced, patient owner who will learn how to read him and his signals to prevent any kind of adverse reaction (2+ months). He needs slow, controlled introductions to other dogs especially in new environments. This is not just basic obedience training that's needed as he's pretty good with commands, loose leash walking, etc. It's a behavior issue in how he handles new situations and new dogs. He would be best as an only dog but he can co-exist with other dogs IF the new owner is patient and willing to work with him to establish the rules and limits which can take a couple of months or longer as well as behavioral training. He needs and wants to trust his humans. He is NOT a dog park or event dog...right now but he has potential to be in the distant future.
NOTE: Needs to be an only dog and with an experienced husky owner! And NO DOG PARKS! High prey drive - no cats, no ducks or bunnies.
