Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Sadie! My foster mommy also calls me Sadie Pie:) I wanted to drop in and let you all know that I am available for adoption through Mobile Mutts Rescue and you can fill out an application by going to www.mobilemuttsrescue.com
Now....a little about me:) I'm from KY and was surrendered with several other dogs. They say I'm a Chi-Weenie (half Dachshund/half Chihuahua) but my foster mommy tell me I'm all Dachshund. I'm about 10 lbs of cuteness all rolled into a little, brown & tan body. I love everyone I meet and all animals too! Here's a list my foster mommy told me I have to share with you all:
- I love my people. I will cuddle with you constantly! I have this thing (and foster mom thinks it's interesting) where I climb up on you and just stand near your face. I won't lick you constantly (like foster brother, Oscar does) but I just want to be as close to you as possible.
- But I'm also great at curling in a ball and take a snooze under some blankets on your lap if that's OK too.
- I love to romp around with my foster brother and sister. We chase each other up and down the hallways and since I'm small (and did I mention cute?) I can just jump right around them. Mis-direction is key to winning.
- I LOVE food. Maybe a little much. I have this habit of waiting by you at the dinner table to see if you will give me food. But foster mom and dad never do so I just sit there and look cute. But I do love my carrots and Greenies we get everyday!
- I tend to hoover my food down quickly. Maybe because it's just so yummy! (Blue Buffalo), but foster mommy got me a food dispensing ball so I will go slower. I'm still trying to understand the concept of working for food.
- I have very good manners and always pee-pee and poopy outside. Foster mommy always gives me lots of praise when I do. So I think I'll keep it up:)
- I do get a little sad when people leave me alone at first. Maybe I'm afraid you won't come back. But it also means I love you very much.
- I do fine in a crate, but I would much rather snuggle with you at night. Foster parents let me cuddle under the blankets next to them in bed with foster brother and sister.
- I love WALKS! And I walk so pretty and nice on a leash. Foster mommy has bad knees so I'm very considerate and don't pull.
