Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Corina is fostered in Canyon Country CA,91387, through United Yorkie Rescue http://unitedyorkierescue.org. To find out more about this sweet little lady, contact her foster mamma at: RN4surgery@yahoo.com
Corina is a sweet (estimated) 10 year old, 11 lb. Yorkie mix girl who came to United Yorkie Rescue in November 2015 through a shelter after being found as a stray.
Corina was diagnosed with several tumors after her rescue and after establishing this little girls vetting needs, she under went surgery for removal. There's a very small chance there could be grow back over time, but hopefully not. Corina's a whole new dog since her surgery and is ready for her forever home. She loves to have her human close by and is happy to snuggle up right next to you. It would be nice (best) for her to have a home where she's not home alone, or home alone very little. She does well with her crate and potty, there have been a couple accidents when she was not taken out to potty immediately after coming out of her kennel, but that's no fault of hers. She's learning to walk on a leash, she walks nicely once you get going. Offering her water at frequent intervals seems to be a necessary part of her routine, at least right now as she recovers from her surgery, as she doesn't drink unless coaxed to. This will likely improve as she continues her healing and feels better moving about freely and has fully adjusted to her environment.
Corina would do best in a home with no children, or a home with older children who understand respect of her size and age. Dogs of her same size and activity level would be ok. A home with a fenced yard would be fantastic, miss Corina would love to run and play.
