My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Danica. Danica is a 1.5 year old Retriever mix that weighs around 47 pounds. This girl along with her brother Donte came into our rescue the day before Thanksgiving. I picked them up from a local store where they was dumped by their owners. We posted them that night and found out all the details, so then it was official that they wasn’t wanted and was now ours. These two precious babies was so grateful the next day when I went out to feed them. They just cried and loved on me….again I just couldn’t believe the owners would just dump them on such a busy highway with a chance of being killed. Danica is a precious girl. She just has a heart of gold and enjoys playing. She is a loving girl with so much personality. Danica is up to date on her vaccines, spayed, heartworm negative, on monthly preventatives and microchipped.

** Danica is being fostered in Tennessee. We do transport out of state but you would not be able to meet her prior to adoption. We know it is difficult not meeting the dog before you make a decision but we will do everything possible to make sure she is the perfect match for you and your family. We will be with you every step of the way.
