My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Hey there, my name is Louie and I really want to adopt a human of my own. I'm housebroken and went through obedience training classes with my current foster human. I'm not trying to brag, but I did really well. Even passed my canine good citizen test on my first try, so I've got credentials now. My 'CGC'. that's what I needed to pursue being a therapy dog.
I get along with other dogs, cats, and heck my current foster human even has some weasal like critters she calls 'thieving ferrets'. They like to hide stuff like car keys, but I leave them alone too. I won't jump on your furniture unless you invite me, and unlike one of the other dogs I live with, I don't chew up human's stuff. Just not my style.
Everyone who meets me says what a great dog I am, so I really don't know why it would be hard for me to find a human of my own. See, I love my foster human and all, but I want a human of my very OWN. I want someone who will think that I am am the center of the universe, and I'll do the same for them. My foster human always tells me that I am one of the best dogs she's ever trained and that I deserve the best things in life.
A while ago I was a bit shy, but since she has introduced me to all sorts of people, I've decided humans are pretty cool. They give me treats, and rubs and all sorts of attention when we go places. Now I go up to everyone to say 'hi' and see what they are all about.
That's why I've decided to adopt one of my own. Adopting one human won't change the world, but for that one human, the world will change forever! I'm still working on my English skills, so contact my foster human and maybe if you're lucky, I'll adopt YOU!!!
