COURTESY LISTING - This dog is not in foster care with BAPBR and we make no guarantees about his/her health or temperament. Get ready for a fun and goofy time with Milo! Milo is a 3.5- year old Labrador/ Shar Pei mix from Del Norte County Animal shelter. Milo is a big guy, weighing in at about 70 pounds of muscle and energy! Milo is a fun boy who loves adventures and loves to play. Milo would love to find a home where he gets to be the only pet, and get all the attention! Milo could use some help with training, but he is very treat motivated and will benefit from some positive training. Please consider giving this big guy his forever home!
Milo would like you to know that he is not dog or cat friendly, but only because he wants to be in the center of your attention! He can be a little reactive towards other dogs when he is restrained by a leash, but with proper training, he could overcome this issue. Milo likes to show off his masculinity through his loud, powerful bark, but underneath it all, he’s just a mush ball!
Milo would thrive in a home with children over the age of 15 years and a home where daily exercise is offered and fetch in the yard is a frequent activity! Milo is not a high-maintenance dog, but he would be forever grateful for an attentive, loving family.
Will you be the one to change the rest of Milo’s days for the better? If his profile fits you and your lifestyle, don’t hesitate to make this cutie a new addition to your family! Milo can’t wait to meet you!
Born Again Pit Bull Rescue regularly works with the wonderful volunteers at the Del Norte County Animal Control Shelter located out in rural Crescent City, CA (a small coastal town on the OR/CA border). They have a very small shelter with small indoor 3x6 kennel runs, low foot traffic, odd adoption viewing hours and it rains a lot which means the dogs can’t always come outside to play -- so we want you to see some of their really great dogs that they have up for adoption -- it's only a short 5-hour drive from Portland to adopt your new family member!
Del Norte County Animal Control is located in Crescent City, CA. They are open Monday – Friday from 8am to 5pm. They are closed Saturday and Sunday.
Address: 2650 Washington Blvd - Crescent City, CA 95531
