Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
COURTESY LISTING - This dog is not in foster care with BAPBR and we make no guarantees about his/her health or temperament. We are providing a service to the Del Norte County Animal Shelter to help with adoption. If you are interested in adopting this dog please contact the shelter directly - their info is below.
Meet Max!
This handsome boy is Max and he's a young pit bull terrier mix who is currently located in Crescent City, CA at our partner shelter!
Max is a sweet boy who is still new to the shelter, so volunteers are still getting to know him. He is a well mannered boy who walks well on a leash and loves his walks. He is a great boy who just needs a loving home and a little TLC. Max would do great in a home where his person or family had lots of time for exercise and some time to do some positive training. Max would do best in a home with either no other animals, or a home with a polite, large, female dog.
Born Again Pit Bull Rescue regularly works with the wonderful volunteers at the Del Norte County Animal Control Shelter located out in rural Crescent City, CA (a small coastal town on the OR/CA border). They have a very small shelter with small indoor 3x6 kennel runs, low foot traffic, odd adoption viewing hours and it rains a lot which means the dogs can’t always come outside to play -- so we want you to see some of their really great dogs that they have up for adoption -- it's only a short 5-hour drive from Portland to adopt your new family member!
Del Norte County Animal Control is located in Crescent City, CA. They are open Monday – Friday from 8am to 5pm. They are closed Saturday and Sunday.
Address: 2650 Washington Blvd - Crescent City, CA 95531
Shelter phone: (707) 464-7235
