Meet Dodge!

Dodge is a blue heeler (Australian Cattle Dog) mix who is young and ready for a fun, active family of his own! He already knows some basic commands, and loves to play. He also has had some interesting vocal noises, and will be sure to entertain. Dodge would love a family who is active and can make sure he gets all the exercise he needs to be a happy, healthy boy. When Dodge came to the shelter he was in need of a little TLC, but some love and a good diet should help the fur he was missing grow back. Dodge would do best in a home where he gets to be the only male dog, but may do well in a home with a playful female companion. He would also love a home without small children.

Born Again Pit Bull Rescue regularly works with the wonderful volunteers at the Del Norte County Animal Control Shelter located out in rural Crescent City, CA (a small coastal town on the OR/CA border). They have a very small shelter with small indoor 3x6 kennel runs, low foot traffic, odd adoption viewing hours and it rains a lot which means the dogs can’t always come outside to play -- so we want you to see some of their really great dogs that they have up for adoption -- it's only a short 5-hour drive from Portland to adopt your new family member!

Del Norte County Animal Control is located in Crescent City, CA. They are open Monday – Friday from 8am to 5pm. They are closed Saturday and Sunday.
