Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We were getting so many applications that my humans suspended them while I recovered from heartworm treatment. Then, after I got healthy, I went to my forever home but that only lasted 3-weeks as my adopted family's furry child and I just couldn't see eye to eye. No blood shed, just constant bickering. Now I am back looking for my forever home and think maybe I should be an only furry child with lots of trips to the doggy park so I can play. I am an approximate 5-year old medium-coat tuxedo mixed-breed female with mostly Border and some spaniel (maybe). I stand 19 inches at the shoulders and weigh 47 pounds which is close to my ideal weight. My humans tell me that I have Bette Davis eyes because they are big and brown and I have a way of looking up that makes you just want to hug me. I am up to date on shots, spayed, ID chipped, and on heartworm preventative. I am really a very nice, sweet dog that walks well on leash, loves to ride, am house and crate trained and play well with the dog pack I live with so don't really know why I had a problem with that other goofy dog. I am not very fast or agile so don't think games are in my future but I will be the very best companion dog you have ever seen. Glue will not bond any tighter than I do.
Foster human here - Jazz has very little of that infamous Border Collie drive and intensity. She loves spending time in the house and is very calm while inside, lays on the floor with no interest in getting on the furniture. Loves to play with her toys and is an excellent toy de-fluffer so has been limited to toys that can't be shredded (well, theoretically at least). She is fine with cats and children although she is very strong so don't think small children are a good idea. She is a good watch dog with a "big dog" bark. Jazz's ideal home would be one with a nice secure yard for safety, at least one stay-at-home human who will take her on many walks and no competition from another dog.
Jazz is being fostering in the Burlington, NC, area. Please visit the website at
