My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

BORDEN born 5-1-15

My name is Borden and everyone says I am “beautiful”. I know boys are not supposed to be “beautiful”, but I really must admit, I do have really cool markings on my body.

I was found along with my two siblings, Ana and Elsie, at a drilling company in Yuba County.

I can be very loving and purr like crazy for you, and sometimes I will come up and lay with you, but other times I am aloof and want to be off on my own. My foster mom says I am just “selective” about who I want to have as my family or be around.

I don’t really like being in the spotlight, and venues are not my thing… but don’t let my shyness scare you off, because I am really very social and loving. I have been raised around other cats. I don’t know how I would react to dogs. I LOVE kitty toys of all kinds and will play for hours with you. Toy mice really get me to growling. I enjoy my morning cat treat and my little bit of wet food at night. I love to climb cat trees, and lay in window perches in the sun. I like a good outdoor romp, but ONLY with Supervision. I know how to use a kitty door.

My siblings and I can really get to “running” through the house and have a lot of fun. If you have room for two of us that would be great. We could play and keep each other company while you are at work.
