Soxie has been adopted! -- Please look at our other Rat Terriers awaiting homes!


Soxie is a rat terrier mix that was dropped off at a shelter with no information. Because she has such white teeth, she is estimated to be 1 to 2 years of age. She weighs around 25 pounds, is very tall & lean and has a long tail. She is very smart and learned how to ring a bell to go out the first day she was here. She is housebroken and is working on being crate trained. She gets along with other dogs, but we're not sure about cats. Soxie is very energetic and will play ball with you for hours. She will chase the ball and drop it in front of you for more. She loves going on walks, and is great in the car. She also likes to play with stuffed toys. She does not seem to be possessive of food or toys. We are not sure how Soxie will be with children, but is great with her foster family's teenage son. Soxie loves to be with you and will lay on the couch next to you when you are relaxing. She is very cuddly and came many miles to find her forever family. Could it be you?
