This dog's fosterhome is located in: ****Arkadelphia, Arkansas**** “Dougal” is a fine Scottish name that just seems to fit this handsome little guy. Dougal is a type B rat terrier, or a Teddy Roosevelt Terrier, which means he has shorter legs. Our vets think Dougal is about 3 or 4 years old, and he weighs 14 pounds. He is housebroken with a doggie door, and seems to be super smart. He watches his foster mom constantly, waiting for his marching orders. Dougal plays well with all the other dogs in his foster home, even a 4-month old pup. He is gentle and docile, and especially loves to snuggle in your lap or at the foot of your bed. Dougal would do well in just about any home environment. He walks well on a leash, and loves to ride in the car. He has an usual bark, it’s like a loud whisper. His favorite thing to do is chase the robins and squirrels who invade his back yard. It’s hard to fathom how such a nice boy as Dougal found himself on his last day at a shelter! Now he’s happily waiting for his new family to find him and take him home where he can stay forever. For more photos of this handsome guy in his foster home, check his album often for new photos:
