Want to meet a bonified move star with lots of love to give to a family. Well look NO further it's me Mimi. My new foster mom named me Mimi, said it was a great name for a little girl destined to be a star. And see that beauty mark on my cheek, don't all great stars have beauty marks?!?!
I like most of the other rescued hounds have a story to tell. I was left behind in a "rental unit". I was originally rescued and then adopted out to a wonderful elderly woman and when she passed away I was given to another couple. Well when they moved they must have thought I wasn't special enough and they left me there to fend for myself. I was found emaciated and just in the nick of time. Now that I have gotten my second chance at life and love Mom says not to worry, from here on out it's all about ME, and I will find just the right forever home. I am still super skinny, and mom intends to fix that with some much needed groceries, but I have to build some much needed muscle mass before I will put some weight on. But don't let my rough start in life fool you, it hasn't affected my personality one bit. I am ALL ABOUT LOVE and kisses. I am still a young girl, around a year old. And I LOVE to play and wrestle with all my foster sister and brother hounds. Mom is requesting I go to home with other hounds or little 2-leggers (you know kids), as I THRIVE to have company and love and attention!! I am still working on house training and have learned how to go through the dog door, and if I go to a home with no doggy door, house breaking reinforcement will be needed!!! I am of course all UTD on my vaccinations, HW- and on monthly HW preventative, and altered!! If you want to meet a very sweet star please let mom know and she can tell you just how special I am. Please remember Every animal for adoption through an Hounds Haven is fully vetted for their age and only needs routine preventive care. Dogs older then 6 months of age are heartworm tested! All dogs are kept on heartworm preventative. Every hound is vaccinated (age appropriate), and de-wormed, in addition to being spayed/neutered.
We are asking for interested parties to fill out a pre-adoption questionnaire prior to us lining up an appointment for them to see the hound(s) at the hound(s)' home.
