Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Herc is a big boy at 93#, but not overweight. He just came in to rescue from a home where he hadn't left the property for many many years so he lacks self confidence in the outside world and needs lots of socialization. He also does not know how to walk on a leash. If you come to him holding a leash, he runs. He is very affectionate, sweet, and gentle. Herc has just discovered toys!!! So exciting. He has always lived with a large pack of dogs so we don't know how he will do as an only dog. He may require the company of another dog/s to give him confidence and teach him how to walk on a leash (with another dog to follow). . Herc will turn 8 on December 30th. He is great with other dogs and people, but has never seen a cat until now in his foster home. He is barking at the cat and this hasn't changed. He is probably too interested. Herc is neutered, up to date on his vaccines, microchipped, and has had an extensive dental. He loves being a house dog and has never had an accident in the house. Herc is a perfect gentleman.
