Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, my name is Rascal but my friends call me Razz.
This is my plea to you because no one asks about me and I want to go to a FOREVER home probably more than anything else I have wanted in life. I mean, it is fine here with the other rescue dogs waiting, but I remember how great a home of my own can be.
I was rescued as a stray pup and was adopted twice but here I am back with Sacred Paws. My first family had to move and decided not to take me with them. I miss them a lot. The second home had lots of little kids. At first, it was okay with me. But, as time went on it was apparent the chaos that comes along with a bunch of little kids in a house, plus a big dog like me, wasn't a great fit. The parents tried their best to make it work but in the end they had to send me back. They all tell me how great of a dog I am. I want to believe them but why doesn't anyone want me to join their family?
I bond deeply with people. I really miss my first brother. He was 12 and had just the right energy for me. We were true best buddies. I am a handsome fellow full of joy. I would love a calm environment and a secure yard. I would be great for an active family with kids older than 12 years. I simply adore long walks, love car rides and have serious snuggling skills!
I am a well-behaved Labrador Retriever that is socialized with other dogs my size and I weigh 70lbs. I was born in Dec 2013.
I am housetrained and know basic obedience. I am current on routine vaccinations, neutered, microchipped and taking monthly heartworm preventive.
Maybe you or someone you know may want to adopt me? I know my family is out there waiting for me so maybe they'll see me on Petfinder. Please share my plea with all your friends. Thank you for listening to me. I'm just a big black dog that is looking for my forever family. I am full of love to share!
If you are interested in learning more about Rascal, contact us at SacredPawsDogs@gmail.com A volunteer will respond within 24 hours.
Rascal's adoption contribution is $150-$200 and helps care for other dogs in our program. Rascal would also love a foster home in Grayson, Collin or Dallas counties while he waits for his forever family to find him.
