My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Spock is a little less than a year old and weighs about 6 or 7 lbs. He follows his foster mom around like she's the best thing since doggie biscuits. He is shy around strangers, but when you get to know him you get to see his silly, playful, affectionate side. He became homeless as the result of a a divorce. He lived with children for the first few months of his life and will be good with kids, but it will take some time for him to get to know them!

Spock will make a fantastic companion and you will be the hit of the neighborhood for having such a cute, comical dog!

Prior to adoptions, all dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (age appropriate), heartworm tested, microchipped and are kept up to date on flea/tick and heartworm preventative.

Adoption fees are $300 for dogs up to 8 years of age and $200 for 8+ years.

SOMAD is a private, all volunteer, foster-home based rescue group. Please be patient as we answer your inquiries; we do our best to answer emails within a day, however volume and regular life schedules sometimes delay us.
