Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rosco is a wonderful growing boy, tall and lanky, and needs lots of exercise. We walk/run him 3 miles almost daily. Additionally, we walk him up and down the block 3x a day.. On the days we can grab a 3-4 mile walk, he is even happier. He loves to prance, and chase the other dogs, but is respectful of the pack and the hierarchy. He likes to steal and hide and chew on socks if he can find them laying around the house, but he has not ruined any shoes...Roscoe is a protector and will bark and strangers and noises to alert us, but then will come to stand my our side for his own reassurance. He likes squirrels and birds, and will run to find and chase them. In our family, we call Roscoe the perfect puppy. Sweet, loving, affectionate, obedient, willing to please, a total lovebug, and likely a good dog for agility training. He is a sweetie pie... overall, he will grow into a wonderful dog.
I am a very velcro dog and I love being around my people so very much. I must always either lay at their feet or within several feet of them. They say I'm a very good foot-warmer. I will do anything they do and go wherever they go! They say I am exceptionally sweet-natured and gentle and that everyone who meets me, loves me. They brag about me all the time and I don't mind.
I get along very well with my foster sisters and I run around in the backyard with them every day. I let all of them boss me around because they are in charge of course. I wrestle and run with them and I even let them get my tennis ball sometimes.
I'm not very good with cats, so I'm told. The problem is I think I like them TOO much and I get very obsessed with them, so I can't go to a home with cats.
My ideal home is one where my human is home a lot or can take me with them to work. I really like being around people. I walk nicely on my leash. I am house-trained, crate-trained and know basic commands. I do well with dogs, strangers, and children. Seriously, everyone loves me and I love them!
I will be available soon because my foster parents say I need to lose another 10-15 lbs to get to my ideal weight. At this point I can still only walk a couple miles, and sometimes I get a bit sore if I walk too much. Please consider giving me a home and I will make you smile every day!
