Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi Everybody! My name is Holly and 1 years old. I am a Boxer/Black Mouth Cur mix. I once had a home but then my owner had to give me up. She was allergic to me so she took me to this place called the shelter. Thankfully, a Volunteer saw my picture and rescued me. I am so happy she did because now I can stay in a foster home versus the shelter. I like my foster home. I am a really good girl that is so easy going. In my foster home I have 4 other girls I can play with. 2 four legged girls like me and boy oh boy do we get to play. My foster home has this big yard that we get to run around. In the shelter I didn’t get to run and I am sure am running now. Well, I sort of run. You’ll get a chuckle out of me when I run. It’s like a run and then I hop. Like a deer. I love playing with the girl dogs and then when the other girls come home from school …. The Human girls – we play too. I am house trained, not food aggressive and am a quiet girl. I only bark when I hear a noise or another dog barks. I have a deep bark though. When I get excited I do jump and I can jump high but that’s only when I play with the other dogs. I love car rides and I sit like a real good girl in the back seat. I really would like to have my own home again so can you call my foster Mom up so you can meet me? You can see how pretty I am and then I can run around and you’ll get some chuckles out of it. Then I go home with you and we live happy ever after. The end, Holly.
Holly is located in her foster home in Itasca. Please fill out an adoption application at: www.illinoisanimalrescue.org . Please visit our website to view our adoption process and our adoption fees.
