Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Avalon. This 2-year old, chocolate lab mix is looking for someone experienced in the fine art of belly rubs. Enjoying long walks and rolling in the grass is a plus. Avalon is an active girl and just loves her daily exercise... almost as much as she loves curling up on the couch and napping. She is a very sweet and sensitive dog. If you raise your voice to her she responds by immediately rolling over onto her back. She'll need a quiet home, willing to provide lots of enrichment, training and love. Avalon sometimes becomes nervous around unfamiliar dogs and will likely not ever be a "dog park" participant. However, when introduced properly she has been able to make friends with other smaller dogs at the center. Think you might be compatible with our girl Avalon? Contact The Pet Rescue Center today and meet your match!
ADOPTION PROCESS:
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. You can find our application online at: http://www.thepetrescuecenter.org/adopt/adoption-application.html. Completed applications can be submitted online, faxed to (949) 743-5878 or emailed to: adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org
Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care.
The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Our mission is to save the lives of dogs and cats at risk of euthanasia. The Pet Rescue Center is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.
