My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is Macy and I am a 8 years old female Schnauzer.

My name means "pure beauty". But I think I’m just pure CUTE! My Mom moved, and could not keep me anymore, so she gave me to SRC so I could find my furever home!

I love my new foster brother and sister. She’s a Yorkie (whatever that is), and the leader of the pack. So I do everything she does!!! I play with her, sleep with her! She’s my best friend. She showed me how to play with toys, and how to squeak them!!

I get along well with everyone, but am a little unsure around small children. I never met a cat, but like to bark at them, or anything that my friends bark at! I like riding in cars, and walk on a leash.

A long time ago I came from a puppy mill, so I’m much safer with a fenced yard. My foster Dad thinks I’m very sweet, and a cuddle bug.

I’m spayed, UTD on all my shots, heart worm negative, and chipped. The vet said I am very healthy, and didn’t need my teeth cleaned. I brush them daily! I am house broke, if kept on a regular schedule. I like my crate, but really like sleeping with all my friends in bed.
