My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Teddy-an wonderful boy full of love and affection. You may have noticed that one of his front legs is missing but that does not slow him down one bit! Teddy's story starts as a sad one. When he was rescued he had an old leg injury that was unable to saved and needed to be amputated. He was also heartworm positive and covered in scars. He has had heartworm treatments and is ready to finally find a happy, loving home to call his own.
Teddy's favorite activities are cuddling and playing with toys. He is a master at tug of war and loves a good game of fetch. Teddy would do best in a home that understands his needs. He is just now getting used to being an indoor pet so he needs some help with house training and knowing how to walk gently on a leash. He has had a few isolated incidents where he was too rough with either another dog or person that he was interacting with-he may just not realize what a big, strong boy he is! With a little training on his manners Teddy will make an amazing lifetime companion.
