Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We found Mavis wandering the streets when she was just 3 months old. Her birthday is estimated to be in October 2016. She was adopted as a puppy in February 2016 and unfortunately returned to us in October 2017 after her adoptive parents got a divorce. Her former adoptive home has this to say about her: “Mavis is always wanting to be with people. She is on the high energy side, loves to chew on her toys, and really good with kids...no aggression towards people at all. She is potty trained to go outside only and crate trained also (will go into kennel on "go to your bed" command). She does not pull on the leash.” Our trainer has this to say about Mavis: "I recently received Mavis (in November 2017) and introduced her to a pack of 10 dogs with previous issues. When she got here she was nervous and excited but she adjusted quickly. She has been getting along great with the pack. There are no signs of any reactive or aggressive behavior. She has calmed to the point of being very obedient even with distraction present. She eats with the pack and has no food issues. She plays with playful dogs and is respectful of the space of dogs who don't want to be bothered. I have never had an issue with her going potty in the house. She is okay in a crate but prefers to sleep out in the house with some of the other dogs. Her issues can be excitement and counter surfing without leadership to guide her to behave. She is sweet and affectionate. She can be a great family dog with little effort on the human's end."
