My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

7/7/08: This is Pretty Girl and after meeting her you will understand why our volunteers call her that. Like most of our rescues, her story is sad. It was obvious to us that Pretty Girl once had a name and a family of her own. She was found as a stray on the streets, skinny and tired. She had a collar with what used to be tags from an owner that either grew tired of her or did not want to care for her anymore. Even after being abandoned by her family, she is still just so happy to be with people. Pretty Girl loves everyone she meets.

Pretty Girl does have some arthritis in her hips and a small lump on her leg. We are currently treating the arthritis with an anti-inflammatory, which is working wonderfully for her. The lump will be removed by our vet. Her calm temperament and demeanor are as sweet as can be. She loves other dogs, you can see in her video that she is happy to give out kisses. She does not jump on you and loves to be out for a walk. She sits patiently waiting for her collar and leash to be put on. Pretty Girl deserves a second chance at having a wonderful and loving home that will provide her the care she needs.
