Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mocha is a little red 2 year old beauty who is looking for a man (or family) to call her own! While she likes her foster mom a lot ....she REALLY loves foster dad! In fact, she has seemed to prefer men over women in all her settings. She loves to be her foster dad's shadow and help him work in his office or do chores out in the yard. She wants nothing more than to be with people and she would do great in quiet home with someone who either works from home or a home where there is someone home during the day.
Mocha is all wiggles and spirit! She is an exuberant young girl who loves to explore the outdoors and go for walks. She also loves to sunbathe and play in the hose! Mocha is a true beauty with her reddish brown, shiny coat and she will smother you with love if you give her a chance. She is very smart and catches on quickly and she very much wants to please. She knows knows sit, down, park it, come, wait and leave it. Currently she is learning to have polite leash manners with the help of a gentle leader/halti collar. She loves going on jogs with her foster mom and would make a really great running buddy!
Mocha currently lives with dog savvy children (ages 7 and 12) but she doesn't seem to be a big fan of younger kids so we are seeking a home with children over the age of 12. With proper intro's she would likely do fine in a home with older kids and laid back dog friends. She does need slow intros with new dogs but she seems to really enjoy the company of another dog once she feels safe with them. She seems to be hot and cold with cats so a cat-free home would likely be best. Patience is key with this girl! She can get nervous with changes and new people but a little extra time spent in helping her feel at ease will really pay off. She is a huge love bug and really needs someone who will be her caregiver and BFF.
Mocha is crate trained, house trained, spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations and microchipped. If you are kind, patient and loving and are looking for an energetic, fun gal, and aren't scared away by lots of pittie love, Mocha is the one for you!
