My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Isn’t she lovely? Rosie is a sweet, affectionate female Argentinian Dogo located in Stroudsburg PA. Her estimated age is 4. She was found as a stray and was clearly used for breeding. Well no longer. She is learning what it is like to be a regular dog and is looking forward to a life of love and fun. Rosie weighs 91 lbs. and is spayed, up to date on shots, crate trained and microchipped. She gets along well with other dogs; she really likes to play and needs lots of exercise. She loves kongs, being brushed, and of course sniffing around (hunting instinct). To see her run is a beautiful thing! Because of her sweet nature, she is a favorite at the vet’s office and with various people who have come to know her. She is a bit timid at first but warms up quickly. A brief introduction to cats went well. She does need be in a home where she can be taken out often; we are working on housebreaking. She’s very likely lived in a breeding kennel situation for most of her life. Would prefer to place in northeast. Experience with the breed is necessary. Fenced in yard required. No small children please.
