Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dale was brought in to a local high kill shelter as a stray. His entire body was covered in sores, including the bottom of his feet. HBW pulled Dale and thanks to a generous supporter Dale received the medical care he needed. It turns out Dale has an auto immune disease where basically his body is attacking it self. It is not contagious but Dale does need to be on medication daily for the rest of his life. The cost of the meds is approximately $15 per month. Dale is a very nice young man at the age of approximately 2 years old. He is fine with other dogs but does not do well at all with cats. Dale would very much love to have a home of his own. Dale has completed a 5 week intensive training program at Big Ed's Dog Training in Ingleside, IL. The perfect home for Dale would be one that he is very integral part of the family. Dale very much wants to engage with people. He loves adventures and car rides. He is the perfect dog to take to stores, outdoor cafes, hiking, anywhere dogs are allowed. Dale would do best as an only dog not because he is dog aggressive but he has no interest in other dogs and prefers to have human companions. Dale is wickedly smart so is easy and fun to train as he is highly food motivated. Dale can not live with cats though.
