Update on Joe:

Joe has been with his foster for two months now. He lived in New York for the first ten years of his life. Unfortunately, his parents became homeless and had to give him up for adoption. Joe has been enjoying his time with his foster, but it’s time for Joe to find his forever family.

Here is the latest update from his foster.

Joe is doing great. He really enjoys hiking smile emoticon and has become very active. He sleeps with [redacted] and is always at his side. With all of Joe's new energy he tends to bark a lot and we are working on that. We are finding his balance between exercise and down time so he doesn't get bored in the house. We also have found he does not require a leash. We open the door for him to go out and he does his thing, and lets himself back inside. Also when we have him on the trails he is off the leash and stays next to us. He really enjoys sunning himself on the porch too! He is really a great dog!
