My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Yo. My name is Daryl. I'm an absolutely A DOR A BLE Yorkie! The shelter said I was 15 but what do they know? I came running out of those doors like a little pygmy goat! My foster mom is guessing maybe 8 or 9 but we won't really know until I get to the vet again to be . . . NEUTERED!!

Yeah, they think just because I'm deaf that I don't know what they are talking about but my manly parts aren't shivering just because it's winter! Oh, that's right, I'm deaf. 100% cannot hear you if you scream in my ear or clap your hands next to my ears deaf. Good thing about that? I don't bark. Bad thing about that? I like to mark my territory. Everywhere. And you can't correct me vocally because I can't hear you.

But so what? I look cute as a button in my diaper! I don't mind it a bit and it only takes about 2 seconds to get it on me. Pop it off when you take me outside and put it back on when we come in. I actually think my foster sisters are jealous of it. I'm stylin'.

Maybe I'll stop marking once I get neutered. Maybe I won't. It's a crap shoot! But, for the right family you won't care at all. You'll just accept me for my specialness and we'll have a grand time.

If you've got other dogs or cats, don't worry. I get along with them just fine. I'm current on my vaccinations and I'm heartworm negative. My teeth aren't the greatest but hopefully the vet will take care of those when he's done robbing me of my manhood.

I like kids but you may not want me around yours. I have a bit of a depth perception problem and sometimes fingers look just like treats when they are coming toward me. Oops!!
