Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dandy is a sweet schnoodle (best guess) who the vet guesses is around 2 years old. Dandy had a rough start to life living on a porch and being neglected. His matts were so bad we were amazed he could walk. Now living in a home, he is very affectionate and plays like a puppy, we are working on getting him to recognize that he can chew on toys and not hands though he's very gentle when he plays. Dandy does very well in a crate with no accidents but still isn't potty trained. He responds very well to praise and seems to be picking up on the fact that he's supposed to be going potty outside. He walks very well on a leash and does better going potty when taken out on a leash opposed to just going out. He is very friendly towards other dogs and will politely sniff them but hasn't engaged them in play yet. I get the impression he would love to play with them but just isn't sure how to go about it. He approaches cats in the same way, greets them with a sniff then pretty much ignores them. He is very gentle and affectionate towards my 3 year old son and doesn't seem to be phased by his rambunctiousness. He is a very sweet, affectionate boy.
Dandy's adoption fee is $250 after his vetting is completed. If interested in meeting or learning more about him please go to http://operationbuddyrescue.org/adoption-application-dog/ and fill out the application so that the foster can contact you.
