Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This handsome young man is 'Tank'. Tank was found on Facebook by a rescue friend tied up in a backyard in WV and in need of a new home, unfortunately his rescuer felt her environment was not what he needed and has asked FDR to find his 'Fureverhome'. Tank is approximately 1 1/2 years old, red and tan, natural ears and docked tail. He is a sweet and sensitive boy, crate trained and housebroken, knows his basic commands, including sit, stay, down, leave it and more, he has great recall too. Tank is very curious about his environment, enjoys playing with other dogs, and has asked for no cats or young children please. Tank has been doing great with his foster family, having a blast at doggy daycare, he is very active and will need lots of exercise, a fenced in yard is required for this young man, his home should have a routine and lots of time with his humans. Tank had a wellness exam and he has been neutered, updated on vaccines, his panel was negative for Heartworm and Lyme, fecal float, dewormed and micro-chipped. His rescuer was also told that Tank was hit by a car, and has a plate an pins in his left hind leg, there is a scar, however no x-ray was done to confirm or deny the statement, he has a normal gait with no complications. If you are able to consider opening your heart and home to Tank, please visit our website at FureverhomesDobermanRescue.org and click on the Adoption tab to download our adoption application PDF for Tank or any of the many Dobermans available for adoption at FDR!
