WHY IS THIS DOG IN NEED??- This fellow was picked up as a stray. He is in a high kill shelter that is faced to make hard choices for nothing more than having no space.
WHERE IS THIS DOG NOW ?- He is fostered in Flesherton
**ALL ABOUT BEN **
His adoption fee is $400
Ben is living with a great dane .Vet clinic said great with clinic cat
Info shared from his foster home :
Ben has a great personality, it takes him a little to trust you but when he does he is full of love and just wants to be near you. He know simple commands like sit, come and I'm still working on lay down, stay and shake a paw. He is a quick learner and will know them all soon!
Ben is great with other dogs too, He has met about 12 different dogs since I have had him and has been great with all of them. He is creat trained but does not need to be. He is very well behaved outside of his creat.
Ben is also very good in the car, no problems at all. As for walks he love to explore so I need to keep an eye on him but always comes when he is called.
He does not bark much, I have only heard him do it a few times. I feed him twice a day one around 7a.m and then again at 5p.m
I have had him at work with me a few times and he loves coming with me. He just hangs out beside me most of the time or we go for small walks on lunch brake.
Ben is very good with meeting new people too, He gets a little shy at first but within a few minutes he is fine. Ben has not met any children yet but I'm sure he would be fine with him.
*** HOW IT WORKS - ADOPTION INFORMATION ****
Please read ** ALL** the information provided below on the process to
save time and facilitate the process in a smooth manner.
The adoption fee does NOT cover the cost of vetting or supplies for these animals - If you cannot afford the adoption fee
(that is a fraction of actual REDUCED VETTING expenses incurred) then you should reconsider adopting.
These animals deserve forever homes, good food, regular vet care, and emergency care as needed.
Pets should never be euthanized by their owners simply based on financial consideration when something goes wrong.
Thank you for your interest in adopting a rescue pet.!!
