My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

* ARIZONA K9 RESCUE *
Military Working Dog Breeds.

THIS IS A GENERIC POST DESCRIBING OUR UNIQUE "COMPANION DOG" PROGRAM.

ALL DOGS PICTURED ARE ACTUAL ARIZONA K9 RESCUE ALUMNI.

• Bragging rights and good deeds of a rescue dog. A life saved.
• Beauty and temperament of a purebred.
• Behavior of an obedience champion!
• You can have it all with an Arizona K9 Rescue Dog.

Sadly, approximately 6 1/2 million animals enter the shelter system in the United States annually. Many are purebred dogs that will make wonderful pets when shown kindness, care and modern reward based training. As a former military trainer, I recruit the very best of these shelter dogs and enlist them in my “Kamp K9” Companion Dog Program. Most of these dogs were likely expensive puppies. They are all rock stars in the making. The rescue program is run like a military boot camp. Well, a country club really. The dogs live with me 24 / 7 in a home environment. No kennels. They each receive the very best care, training and socialization. I employ the same modern methods used to train the most elite Military Working Dogs and Police Service Dogs. Upon graduation, they are then placed into loving permanent homes.

My alumni dogs have gone on to become title holders, sport dogs, service dogs and of course cherished family companions and protectors. Because I can only work with a select few dogs at a time, all are reserved prior to program completion. This program is truly unique. It combines rescue, professional training and a personal touch not available from a commercial operation. Everybody wins!

Arizona K9 Rescue does not receive any grant or other funding beyond token donations. Adoption fees must cover the many expenses to provide the long list of products and services for each dog. Although this unique program is not for everyone, no other rescue provides more.

Adoption fees start at only $995 and are adjusted depending on the specific training and titles each dog receives. Given that puppies are selling over the internet sight unseen for thousands of dollars, this opportunity is an exceptional value. A single vet visit for that free dog could easily run more.

NOTES:
• Arizona K9 does NOT breed any animals.
• All dogs are rescued from local shelters and are spayed or neutered.
• Arizona K9 is a no kill rescue. No dogs are ever euthanized for space. We make a lifetime commitment to every dog in the program. Several have become hospice / sanctuary dogs and are loved and cared for to their last day. .
• Arizona K9 also offers all breed, all age training in the Phoenix, AZ vicinity. Free phone consultation.
• Basic and advanced obedience.
• Behavior modification. All issues.
• Evaluations.
• Protection.
• Keep your dog program. Even in non-pet approved housing.
