My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Whiskey River is a very sweet boy. He will turn 6 in August of 2008. Whiskey was raised with two young children and is good with kids. He has been around several different dogs since he came to our foster home, some he gets along with great and others he has been aggressive towards. He does get along with our cat.

Whiskey loves to run around the backyard. He watches and chases everything that flies and has already caught one bird, which he held down with one paw until we released the bird. He also swims well and will swim after ducks on the lake until they fly off. He does well in a crate and learned to use our dog door in no time. He has had some obedience training but pulls on the lesh at the beginning of a walk.

Whiskey is high energy but settles down nicely in the house. He gets very excited when taken in the car. Bottom line .... he is one great dog and with a little patience and time will be a very well behaved house dog. He appears to be one of those Brittanys that lives to hunt AND loves to spent time with his family.
