My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Finn is a happy, easy-going, 8 year old Brittany from Northern Michigan. He has been in his foster home for a few weeks now, and he has adjusted very well. He was happy and loved at his original home, but his owners were elderly and fell into ill health. They felt they could no longer care for Finn properly and were sad to give him up for adoption.

Finn is a neutered male, about 8 years old and in good health, who is up to date on all his shots. He is also microchipped. He is white and orange in color.

Finn is a very sweet, nice dog--smart, devoted, obedient and calm. He likes other dogs and loves people. We have no knowledge of his reaction to cats. He is not at all rambunctious or destructive. We have been told that Finn loves top hunt and is good at it. He is a big strong fellow, who came to us maybe a few pounds over weight. With diet and exercise he is getting closer to his ideal weight, which would be 50-55 pounds.

Finn loves going outside and had a big yard to roam in northern Michigan; now he is very happy in our fenced yard. He has never made any attempt to dig or jump or “escape.” He does not like thunder much. We are now training him to sleep in his crate and to not pull when being walked.

Finn is an extremely well-tempered and loving dog that will be a great addition to his forever family. Please fill out an adoption application.
