Here's what the humans have to say about me:
*Korbin is currently living in Houston with his foster mom and is available for local or out-of-town adoption.*
This striking, freckled, little boy is only 14 weeks old and 12 pounds. He is a Catahoula Leopard Dog mix, known for their affectionate personalities and active ways. Korbin is estimated to reach about 50 pounds as an adult.
This lucky little pup was at the city shelter with his 8 siblings. Six of them were rescued by other folks prior to our knowledge of them, but 3 were remaining and were only given another day, so we took all 3 of them into our program. As with all tiny babies, they were at risk of serious illnesses, but other than lots of intestinal parasites and extreme hunger, these babies were healthy.
Korbin is a typical puppy right now. He’s in the beginning stages of potty, leash and crate training. He will need a family that is ready to put in the work to help him learn all of these things so he becomes an excellent adult. His breed is well known for being active and needing a good amount of exercise and socialization, so we are seeking an active family and maybe even a person that will take him along on regular runs, hikes and camping trips.
Korbin is excellent with all of the other dogs that he’s met so far and we want to ensure that he remains very social in his new family either with a furry sibling in the home or very regular visits to the dog park. He is a silly, playful and happy puppy and loves to be around other dogs and all people.
Although he is almost constantly running through the house or the yard with his furry friends, when a person picks him up to love on him, he is docile and super sweet. We are positive that he will make a wonderful snuggle buddy for a very lucky family. His sweet temperament and charm will catch your attention immediately.
Korbin’s foster mom said that if she didn’t already have a very full doggy house, this amazing pup would stay and be her snuggle bug. She knows that she can’t help other babies in need, just like Korbin, if she keeps all the perfect ones. Korbin will be a very popular pup, so don’t hesitate if you are interested in meeting him.
Korbin is neutered, fully vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped. He is ready to begin his new life and forget this rough beginning that he’s had. If Korbin is your ideal pup, please fill out the adoption application on our website, www.reggiesfriends.org under the Adoptables tab. If you have additional questions about Korbin, feel free to email us at adoptions@reggiesfriends.org. His adoption fee is $300 for adoption within Texas.
