My name is Atticus. I was found along with my siblings in a YEP you guessed it …in an ATTIC. But, the meaning of my name is actually Latin and means “Man from Attica”. It is also the name of the noble lawyer in the novel “To Kill A Mockingbird”. I fit the characteristics of my name because I am Social and Happy. I am also popular among my other kitty family. I can be a bit dramatic and creative when it comes time for cat treats. I will try to get more than my fair share. But then so does the rest of the kitties. And can you blame me? I mean those treats are GOOD!
I love sleeping on my back with my feet and paws in the air. I will come up to you and flop over on my side and wait for you to rub my belly. I just LOVE to be pet and belly rubbed. It is the BEST. I hope you don’t mind, but I will probably “drool” with my contented purring, because I am so happy.
My sister “Jovee” and I are somewhat bonded, so it would be nice if we stayed together, but we might be ok separated…. if it is to the right homes. I just worry about my little sister, Jovee. You know how we big brothers are… so protective of our little sisters! So it might be nice if we could stay together.
I recently got to check out the great outdoors and would benefit from a catio or a very tall fenced yard. My foster mom has a “cat fence” which is this cool fence that allows me to be very safe and still enjoy the outside. I know how to use a kitty door! I get along really well with other cats. I am not sure if I like dogs, because I have not been around them. Cat trees are also super cool, and I really like them. Mom says I am a “tree dweller”. I am always up on the top level of the tallest cat tree. I have good manners and I do not scratch furniture.
