My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pepsi is a sweet Schnoodle (Schnauzer/Poodle) who's about 3 years old and weighs 12 pounds. He now has dual citizenship -- Mexico and the US. Thanks to a compassionate woman in Tecate, Mexico, we learned of two dogs in the shelter who, without rescue, would be doomed. As bad as some of our shelters are, it doesn't compare to Mexico. Pepsi had an elderly owner who passed away a month ago. From that point on, Pepsi lived on the streets with his deceased owner's other dog who we also have, Sprite. When the son came to sell the house, the neighbors told him he needs to find a home for the dogs. He promptly dumped them at the shelter -- a certain death sentence.

In spite of the ordeal Pepsi has gone through, it hasn't affected his sweet spirit -- he's loving and affectionate and well-socialized. He gets along great with other dogs and is friendly with strangers. Pepsi has a passive personality and is very gentle. Pepsi and Sprite were a mess when we got them and had to be shaved down, so you'll just have to visualize how handsome he'll be when his coat grows out. Pepsi will make a wonderful companion.

All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, vet checked, current on vaccinations, microchipped, groomed, de-wormed, de-flea'd, and come with a collar, leash, ID tag, and puppy kisses from the lucky dog you take home!
